Quarter Three
1. My project is nearly done. I have three more sections I would like to write, but should I run out of time, it isn’t an issue. I have enough done to create a well-organized and full travel guide. All that is left now is formatting the book, which was always intended to be the last step of the process, and perhaps write more if I feel I am able. Proof-reading is taking place now and after minor adjustments and corrections that are deemed necessary, I will be ready to print my guide out as my official product.
2. My book and website will be on display for the presentation to showcase what all my work this year went into making. Decisions have to be regarding how I will incorporate the product into the presentation other than being on display, but that bridge will be crossed when I start planning my presentation officially. I will also have the help of my mentor and Civics teacher for that part of the process and we can decide on the best way to present the guide together.
3. Mostly the research process. There were times I started looking up a specific ghost only to realize there wasn’t enough information to write a section about. Or, worse yet, I would write a section on the background of the ghost only to discover there are no haunted locations dedicated to the spirit which can be visited. That was much earlier on though, as I learned to research both parts thoroughly before I began writing the section. Additionally, I was part of my sister’s Senior Project, which consumed some of my free time that could have been spent working on my own project. Still, a balance was found, and both projects are moving along to completion.
